Albuera, Leyte -- An old photo of Chief Supt. Marvin Marcos and former Mayor of Albuera, Leyte Rolando Espinosa Sr. has gone viral on the internet.

The photo was uploaded on MIO facebook group and catches the attention of the Netizens.

The photo uploader claimed that Marcos said that he didn’t met Rolando Espinosa Sr, but according to some sources, Marcos only told the committee that the person that he didn’t met before was Kerwin.

"Para ako suhulan o maging protektor ni Kerwin, napaka-imposible po noon. Hindi ko po siya kilala, at hindi po kami nagkita kahit minsan” Marcos said

The former chief of CIDG-8 who led the operation that left Albuera, Leyte Mayor Espinosa Sr. dead in jail, denied during the Senate probe on the death of Espinosa that he received money from the Espinosas.

He also told the committee members that he is already had been separated since January 2013 before the election period where Kerwin claimed that he gave the drug money worth P3-M pesos to him.

Marcos believe that the Espinosas’ became angry to him after he helped arrest two gunmen with ties to the Espinosas.

Yesterday, the PNP Chief expressed his disappointment after hearing the testimonies of Kerwin Espinosa against the cops that he trusted to take care of the war on drugs in region 8.
